PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking-type mower that allows a mowing operation to be suitably carried out as a traveling machine body is advanced or retreated.SOLUTION: A traveling machine body 1 is provided with a motor unit E, a traveling device that is rotated by power from the motor unit E, and a cutting blade 10. The traveling device has right and left front wheels 5 and right and left rear wheels 6 that are supported against the traveling machine body 1. The cutting blade 10 is supported against the lower portion of the motor unit E in such a manner as to freely rotate about a vertical axis P2. The motor unit E and the cutting blade 10 are supported against the traveling machine body 1 in such a manner as to be capable of swinging about a horizontal axis P1.
