PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter applying a little burden to a living body, having high safety, capable of suppressing occurrences of smash and kink and, even when being deformed in the living body, causing little change in physical properties.SOLUTION: A guiding catheter 1 comprises a catheter body 2 that includes: an inner layer 22 having a lumen 21 in the inside thereof; an outer layer 23 disposed radially outside the inner layer 22; and a reinforcement part 24 disposed between the inner layer 22 and the outer layer 23 and composed of a wire. When the outside diameter of the catheter body 2 is D, the wall thickness of the catheter body 2 is Tc, and the wall thickness of the inner layer 22 is Ti, the following expressions (1) to (3) are satisfied.
