PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter having a levee clutch automatic return device which can appropriately level the ground in or near a headland where a field is easily roughened, and can improve the accuracy in planting seedlings.SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter includes an electric operating mechanism for transmitting the raising motion of an upper link 40 to a levee clutch by connecting the upper link 40 for raising a planting part 4 of a body 2 to a levee clutch lever 19 by a cable, etc., so that a switch of the levee clutch can be turned on via linkage mechanisms A and B according to the raising motion of the upper link.
