PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development type disposable diaper which can be detachably put on by a target wearer lying facedown too.SOLUTION: A development type disposable diaper has a longitudinal direction, a lateral direction and a thickness direction crossing perpendicular each other and includes a first waist part provided in a side in the longitudinal direction, a crotch part, and a second waist part provided in the other side in the longitudinal direction. An absorber set in the center of the lateral direction, a fastening tape attached at each lateral end in the lateral direction in the second waist part and a cutoff line along the lateral direction for cutting off at least a part of an area in the side opposite to the absorber and the fastening tapes are included, an end of the cutoff line is attached to a lateral end in the lateral direction, the other end of the cutoff line is attached to a lateral end in the side opposite to the lateral end in the lateral direction in the development type disposable diaper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
