PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion assisting device which improves observation performance of an endoscope by reliably guiding an endoscope insertion part to a region to be examined inside a subject.
SOLUTION: The endoscope insertion assisting device is equipped with a guide tube 20 having a bent shape part 20 m formed at a distal end side by bending the distal end side in an inserting direction S for guiding the endoscope insertion part 2 inserted in the inside to the region to be examined, and a pipe member 30 which covers the outer periphery of the guide tube 20, advances and retreats in the inserting direction S relative to the guide tube 20, and elastically deforms the bent shape part 20 m in a linear manner along the inserting direction S when covering the bent shape part 20 m.
