There are compositions and methods are described for generating an effective immune response improvement to the immunogen in humans. The increased immune response is obtained by a MVA vector as a prime and boost using an adenoviral vector, characterized by a high degree of specific antibody responses, and an increase in cellular immune response to the immunogen.
