PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic deoxidant containing a porous carrier where flowability and powder soaring can be simultaneously improved, small bag filling can be performed as powder as it is and oxygen absorption performance is excellent.SOLUTION: A deoxidant comprises: a porous carrier； a powder containing an oxygen absorbing composition carried with the carrier； and an inorganic fine particle stuck to the surface of the powder. The average particle diameter of the powder is 0.01 mm or more and less than 0.3 mm. The addition amount of the inorganic fine particle is 12.0 wt.% or less of the total weight of the deoxidant.
