The method involves performing electrical contacting over painted or anodized contact surfaces between an upper part (20) and a U-shaped lower part (10) of a conduit channel. A painted layer or an anodized layer is removed as strips or selectively along contact lines (25, 29) for electrical contacting, where the contact lines are designed at cover retaining profiles (13) of the lower part and at form retaining profiles (23) at the upper part. A contact zone (30) is designed between an inner side of a form leg (24) of the form retaining profiles and an inner side of a profile leg (14). An independent claim is also included for a conduit channel.
