The present disclosure provides methods of identifying and validating biomarkers that are predictive of drug efficacy in a patient. The disclosed methods use avatars (e.g. animal or in vitro models) to identify biomarkers associated with a particular treatment status (e.g. responder or non-responder to drug). These biomarkers are then validated by using previously obtained clinic data and clinical samples from patients who were previously treated with the drug The biomarkers can be used to identify other patient samples which are predicted to respond to given treatments, and the presence or absence of the biomarker can guide patient treatment.La présente invention concerne des procédés didentification et de validation de biomarqueurs qui sont prédictifs de lefficacité dun médicament chez un patient.
