PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field crop harvester capable of stabilizing a traveling posture or an uprooting operating attitude, even when there are undulations, such as a ridge in a field.SOLUTION: The field crop harvester is equipped with an uprooting transporting apparatus 51 for uprooting and harvesting a crop G vegetating in the field, a cutter 64 for cutting stems and leaves K of the crop G and a maneuvering part B for operating the machine body. In the field crop harvester, a right and a left front driving wheels 27 and 27 are installed at the front of a right and a left transmission cases 17 and 17 having base parts, mounted freely rotatably on the machine body and freely vertically movably installed, respectively. A right and a left rear driving wheels 26 and 26 are installed in the intermediate part, respectively, and a right and a left transmission gears 25 and 25 for driving the right and the left front driving wheels 27 and 27 and the right and the left rear driving wheels 26 and 26 are provided in the interior of the right and the left transmission cases 17 and 17, respectively.
