The present invention provides an oil-in-water-type emulsion cosmetic having excellent emulsion stability and long-term emulsion stability and also having an excellent sensation upon use such as non-stickiness. This oil-in-water-type emulsion cosmetic is characterized by comprising the following components (a) to (d): (a) at least one amphipathic substance selected from components (a1) to (a3), wherein the component (a1) is an amphipathic protein, the component (a2) is a copolymer of 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid or a salt thereof and vinyl pyrrolidone, and the component (a3) is a microgel which is produced by, in a composition comprising an organic solvent or an oily component as a dispersion medium and water as a dispersion phase, dissolving a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the dispersion phase and radically polymerizing the monomer in the dispersion phase, and which is produced by radically polymerizing dimethylacrylamide and 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid using a surfactant under the conditions for forming a single-phase microemulsion or a fine W/O emulsion (b) particles having an average particle diameter of less than 500 nm (c) an oily component and (d) an aqueous component.
