PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably discriminate the position of acupuncture point with a simple hardware constitution.SOLUTION: An electric current generated from a current generating part 1 is impressed on measurement points #1-#n on the skin 30 of a subject through current impression electrodes 31, 32-3n. A measurement part 6 measures the energized current and a voltage generated on the skin by energizing. A frequency analyzing part 7 performs frequency analysis on the measured current and voltage, so as to calculate a skin impedance Z(jf) at each measurement point. A feature quantity generating part 8 calculates the frequency characteristic K(f)=XZ(f)/RZ(f) being the ratio of a real number part RZ(f) to imaginary number part XZ(f) in the skin impedance Z(jf), based on the frequency characteristic of the skin impedance Z(jf) at the measurement points #1-#n.
