A radiation-curable nail gel composition comprising(a) one or more of the following: i. a vinyl functional, urethane；ii. a vinyl containing polyester； andiii. a compound containing an ester which does not contain a hydroxyl group；(b) at least one hydroxyl-containing monomer, oligomer, or solvent； and(c) a photo initiator；the radiation-curable gel nail coating composition comprising less than 10 ppm tin； and a method comprising applying the composition to a finger or toe nail and curing it in the presence of UV radiation.
