PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support tool in which a seed tape in which the seeds of a vegetable are arranged in a prescribed interval so that the seed tape may be arranged for easy cultivation and further so that the grown vegetables may easily be picked off. SOLUTION: The support tool 23 for the water culture is mainly formed with a long and narrow support body 25. The support body 25 has a concave receiving groove 27. A plurality of through-holes are bored on the bottom piece 29c constructing this receiving groove 27 so that these through-holes may be adjusted to the positions of the seeds that are lined on the seed tape 37. The seed tapes 37 are placed in the receiving groove 27 of the support tool body 25, so that the seeds each comes to the receiving groove. Then, the seed tape 37 is soaked with an aqueous solution 41 in the water tank 43 whereby Chinese cabbage 45 is grown. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
