The attachment brush part contains an attachment brush housing (21), a drive rod (91) for driving a brush head (61) with a brush head-side end portion (95), on which a first toothing (92) is arranged, and a handpiece-side end portion (94), and further has a brush head (61) with a bristle carrier (62) and care bristles (81) arranged thereon, wherein the bristle carrier (62) has a second toothing (66). The attachment brush part (2) also contains a securing element (121) for rotatable mounting of the handpiece-side end portion of the drive rod (91). The first and second toothing (66) form a drive toothing for driving the brush head (61) by means of the drive rod (91).
