The present invention provides a water purification apparatus for an aquarium to facilitate removal of foreign matters, the apparatus comprising: a water supply pipe for supplying polluted water to a water purification vessel an air supply pipe for generating bubbles in the polluted water supplied by the water supply pipe to float foreign matters and the water purification vessel having a bubble removal pipe formed on an upper end of the water purification vessel for removal of the foreign matters attached to the bubbles generated by the air supply pipe, that is the bubbles, and communicating with inside of the water purification vessel. According to the present invention, the height of the bubble removal pipe can be adjusted. To this end, the bubble removal pipe comprises: a base pipe formed in the top of the water purification vessel and a lifting/lowering pipe inserted inside the base pipe to be lifted/lowered, wherein a fixation means fixating the lifting/lowering pipe is formed in the bottom outside of the lifting/lowering pipe or the top of the base pipe.
