PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion section for endoscopes, and endoscope including a confluent member that does not prevent operation of a bending section.SOLUTION: A bending section 16b and a soft section 16c are joined with a proximal piece 50B and a connection ring 63. A confluent member 70 has branch pipes 71a and 71b, and a confluent pipe 72. The branch pipes 71a and 71b are formed by dividing the proximal end of the confluent member 70 into two branches. A gas supply pipe 73 and a liquid supply pipe 74 are communicated to the branch pipes 71a and 71b. A confluent pipe 72 is consecutively provided at the distal ends of the branch pipes 71a and 72b, and communicated to an air/liquid feed tube 28.
