The present invention describes a liquid vaccine composition of a live enveloped virus and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, whereby the carrier is a natural deep-eutectic solvent (NADES), and the vaccine has a water activity of less than about 0.8. The NADES provides a stabilisation of the sensitive virus for prolonged time and at ambient temperature. In general, the liquid vaccine compositions according to the invention, in different compositions for the various enveloped viruses, show remarkable capabilities of stabilisation. This overcomes the need for lyophilisation, a great economic benefit. Also the liquid nature of the vaccines facilitates administration to human or animal targets.La présente invention concerne une composition de vaccin liquide d'un virus enveloppé vivant et d'un support pharmaceutiquement acceptable, le support étant un solvant eutectique profond naturel (NADES, pour "natural deep-eutectic solvent"), et le vaccin présentant une activité de l'eau inférieure à environ 0,8. Le NADES apporte une stabilisation du virus sensible pendant un temps prolongé et à température ambiante. En général, les compositions de vaccin liquide selon l'invention, dans différentes compositions pour les divers virus enveloppés, présentent des capacités de stabilisation remarquables. Ceci permet d'éliminer le besoin de lyophilisation, ce qui présente un grand intérêt économique. De plus, la nature liquide des vaccins facilite leur administration à des cibles humaines ou animales.
