PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel fixing device that is easily held and can perform casting operation and palming operation without a sense of incongruity.SOLUTION: A reel fixing device 10 can fix a fishing rod mounting leg R1 of a fishing reel R. A reel fixing device 10 includes a reel seat body 11 and a trigger 20 protruding from a lower part toward the lower part of the reel seat body 11. The trigger 20 includes a front surface part 21 and rear surface part 22, the front surface part 21 is formed in a cross-section convex toward the front, and the rear surface part 22 having at least a portion formed in a cross-section concave toward the front.
