The present invention relates to a process for the treatment of keratinous fibres, in particular human keratin fibers such as the hair, comprising: (i) a step of application of an oxidized polysaccharide, (ii) a step of heating at a temperature of at least 100°C (iii) a step of application of a compound of pyridine, dicarboxylic acid. The method makes it possible to obtain good cosmetic properties of conditioning the hair, with a durable. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic composition and a kit for the implementation of the process of treatment.Linvention concerne un procédé de traitement des fibres kératiniques, en particulier des fibres kératiniques humaines telles que les cheveux, comprenant :(i) une étape dapplication dun polysaccharide oxydé,(ii) une étape de chauffage à une température dau moins 100 °C(iii) une étape dapplication dun composé dacide pyridine dicarboxylique.Le procédé permet dobtenir de bonnes propriétés cosmétiques de conditionnement du cheveu, avec un effet durable dans le temps.Linvention concerne également une composition cosmétique et un kit utilisés pour la mise en œuvre du procédé de traitement.
