A hair treatment method comprising steps 1 to 5 to be performed in the following order: 1. a step of applying a first composition to hair, wherein the first composition is acidic and comprises one or more selected from the group consisting of glyoxylic acid, glyoxylic acid hydrates, glyoxylates, and glyoxyl amides； 2. a step of leaving the hair having the first composition applied thereto to stand； 3. a step of heating the hair with a high temperature heating device； 4. a step of applying a second composition to the hair, wherein the second composition comprises an oxidizing agent, has a pH of 0.5 or more and less than 8.0, and has a content of a dye component of less than 0.4% by mass； and 5. a step of leaving the hair having the second composition applied thereto to stand.La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement capillaire comprenant les étapes 1 à 5 à effectuer dans l'ordre suivant : 1. une étape consistant à appliquer une première composition sur les cheveux, ladite première composition étant acide et comprenant un ou plusieurs constituants choisis dans le groupe constitué par l'acide glyoxylique, des hydrates d'acide glyoxylique, des glyoxylates et des glyoxyl-amides ； 2. une étape consistant à laisser reposer les cheveux sur lesquels a été appliquée la première composition ； 3. une étape consistant à chauffer les cheveux avec un dispositif chauffant à haute température ； 4. une étape consistant à appliquer une seconde composition sur les cheveux, ladite seconde composition comprenant un agent oxydant, ayant un pH supérieur ou égal à 0,5 et inférieur à 8,0, et ayant une teneur en un composant colorant inférieure à 0,4 % en masse ； et 5. une étape consistant à laisser reposer les cheveux sur lesquels a été appliquée la seconde composition.
