The present invention also provides an aqueous or water-soluble disinfecting composition beneficial for a use according to the invention, characterized in that as disinfecting active compound it comprises a said antibacterial and antifungal compound selected from squalamine and a said squalamine-analog aminosteroid compound and suitable excipients for a water-soluble or aqueous formulation.La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'un composé choisi parmi la squalamine et un composé aminostéroïdien analogue de la squalamine comme agent désinfectant d'un objet matériel inerte, notamment la pré-désinfection d'un matériel médical, dentaire, de diagnostic ou chirurgical. La présente invention fournit également une composition désinfectante aqueuse ou hydrosoluble utile pour une utilisation selon l'invention caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte, comme composé actif désinfectant, un dit composé choisi parmi la squalamine et un dit composé aminostéroïdien analogue de la squalamine antibactérien et antifongique, avec des excipients appropriés pour une formulation hydrosoluble ou aqueuse.
