PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter having a deodorant function, which has excellent persistence of deodorant effect and being provided with a function to deodorize not only sulfur-based malodorous substances such as hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan and the like but also malodorous substances such as lower fatty acids, body odor components and the like.SOLUTION: A filter having a deodorant function comprises a glassy deodorant supported on a filter body. The glassy deodorant comprises alkali-alkaline earth-borosilicate glass containing a copper component or alkali-alkaline earth-silicate glass containing a copper component.
