The use of the pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention can selectively ameliorate the symptoms of dry eye syndrome, and it is effective in the treatment and prevention of eye diseases and in the prevention and relief of ocular discomfort due to various inflammatory conditions such as post-surgical conditions.
