A nasal respiratory mask (10) is disclosed for use with a patient. The mask comprises a flexible cushion (12) arranged to interface with and deliver air to the patient's nose and a tube connection (18) at one or both sides adjacent to the patient's nares. The tube connection portion (18) is arranged to connect to an air delivery tube. A rigid support structure (14) adjacent the cushion (12) extends over the patient's nasal bridge but not over the apex of the patient's nose. The support structure (14) substantially stops the cushion (12) from collapsing when a force is applied to a front side of the mask. Headgear is arranged for releasable attachment to the support structure (14).
