The present invention generally relates to an intelligent brain controlled wheelchair integrated with GSM module for paralyzed people. More specifically, the invention describes about the design of the wheelchair that utilizes brain waves and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) which will translate the waves into real time commands to control the motion of the wheelchair, carry out basic tasks of paralysed person. Further it is used. If the person feels sleepy or needs rest, the rate of eye blink reduces from normal blink rate. This is detected by means of eye blinking sensor which in turn flattens the chair like a bed for the patient to take rest. The global system for mobile communicator is used check the status of the patient and to communicate with care taker under emergency.
