PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral cavity illuminator and a cover member of the same which are favorable for visit treatment of plural patients in a traveling home care, etc. and reduce burden on an operators eye.SOLUTION: An oral cavity illuminator 1 includes: a body part 11 a hook body 12 a cap body 13 and a cover member 20. The hook body 12 has a tip insertable into an oral cavity, is a hollow body capable of being suspended on a lower tooth, and includes a light illumination part 30 at a position separated from the tip by a predetermined distance. In an inner part of the hook body positioned in the light illumination part 30, an LED, for example, is arranged and power is supplied form a battery 40 arranged in the body part 11.
