An incubation method for improving oil production of Chlorella includes providing a Chlorella, incubating the Chlorella in an illuminated environment with an initial concentration OD682 value of 0.005 to 0.015. The incubation method for improving oil production of Chlorella is characterized in that an ultrasonic source having a strength of 1.24~2.75 mW/cm2 and a frequency of 0.5~5 MHz is applied to the Chlorella during incubation.
