PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external composition for fingers (composition for hand care) having heightened durability of a water-repellent effect without using a water-in-oil type cream as an agent form.SOLUTION: The composition provided includes an oil phase containing a solid oil portion and a liquid oil portion, and a water phase containing water and a water-soluble thickener, wherein the oil phase is dispersed into the water phase as particles whose average primary particle size is 0.1-300 &mum.
