PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification device capable of enabling a state that an artery side puncture needle or a vein side puncture needle is punctured into a patient to be easily grasped when driving a blood pump in a non-connection process.SOLUTION: A blood purification device includes a blood circuit 1 that can externally circulate blood of a patient, a dialyzer 2 that can purify blood flowing through the blood circuit 1, a blood pump 3 disposed in an artery side blood circuit 1a capable of sending liquid by the drive, and control means 10 for performing a connection process for driving the blood pump 3 in a state that an artery side puncture needle a and a vein side puncture needle b are punctured into a patient, and a non-connection process for driving the blood pump 3 in a state that the artery side puncture needle a and the vein side puncture needle b are not punctured into the patient.
