PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article evaluation device equipped with a doll body capable of performing a plurality of movements and/or taking a plurality of postures, and an absorptive article evaluation method using the absorptive article evaluation device.

SOLUTION: This absorptive article evaluation device 1 is equipped with the doll body 10 which has two leg sections 12a, 12b, and on which a predetermined absorptive article can be put. In a state that the predetermined absorptive article is put on, the doll body 10 can perform rotation operation in the forward and backward and the right and left directions of the two legs 12a, 12b, inclination operation in a direction vertical to the doll body 10, and rotation operation in the peripheral direction of the trunk of the doll body 10, and can perform movements and/or taking postures approximate to those of a human body.
