PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment tool for an endoscope, capable of suitably operating a treatment part independently of a state of an insertion tube part.SOLUTION: A treatment tool 1 for an endoscope includes: a long insertion tube part 10 a treatment part 20 attached to a tip of the insertion tube part and capable of holding an object an operation part 50 installed on the base end side of the insertion tube part to operate the treatment part an operation member 30 for connecting the treatment part to the operation part a motor 53 for rotating the operation member around an axial line of the operation member and a torque transmission prevention part for preventing rotation of the operation member from being transmitted to the treatment part.
