PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a compact temporary retaining mechanism on a tablet feeder for random storage.SOLUTION: In the tablet feeder 40 including a tablet cassette 20 for storing many tablets randomly and dispenses them sequentially and a base 30 for removably supporting the cassette and driving the cassette to dispense the tablet, the base 30 is provided with temporary retaining mechanisms 41-45 where a plurality of temporary retaining chambers 46 are formed for receiving and temporarily retaining medical tablets dispensed from the cassette 20.
