The device (22) has a supply line (28) introducing an air flow into the device, and a conveyor line (29) conveying material from the device. A transparent switching device switches the device between a conveying position and a calibration position (56). The material is conveyable by the air flow into the conveyor line, in the conveying position. The material is through leadable by the device in the calibration position such that the material arrives immediately after conveyance into an environment. The switching device is designed as a slidegate valve (23).
