To provide an absorbent article which maintains a shape of a recessed groove and suppresses back-flow even when body fluid is absorbed repeatedly.SOLUTION: A recessed groove 10 extending in a longitudinal direction of a pad 1 is formed on a skin side surface of an absorber 4, and along a side surface and a bottom surface inside the recessed groove 10, a recessed groove deformation suppression sheet 11 composed of a hydrophilic liquid permeable sheet is disposed. In at least a region corresponding to a wearer's crotch part, a side surface adhesive layer 12 adhering side surfaces of the recessed groove deformation suppression sheet 11 and of the recessed groove 10 is provided, and a bottom surface adhesive layer 13 adhering bottom surfaces of the recessed groove deformation suppression sheet 11 and of the recessed groove 10 is provided. In the side surface adhesive layer 12, adhesive is applied all over a prescribed region, and in the bottom surface adhesive layer 13, adhesive is applied intermittently to the prescribed region.
