The present invention discloses a medical device that facilitates improved operator support by telemedicine professionals. To that end, the medical device seeks information regarding the level of experience of the operator and evaluates the level of support required. In addition, the medical device queries for information on use cases and urgency. Depending on this information, the medical device determines the data set that it may have to send to the telemedicine specialist. The medical device also determines the transmission rate required so that the telemedicine specialist can efficiently assist the operator of the medical device.
