PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding structure for an absorbent article without generating creases caused by the folding at individual packing, without giving a sense of discomfort to a user when wears the absorbent article, and hardly impairing the liquid absorbency.
SOLUTION: The folding structure 20 is to fold the absorbent article 1, comprising a vertically long body 5 and at least a pair of unfolded flap parts 6 extended on left and right sides in the rear in the longitudinal direction of the body 5 to be used without being folded to the body 5 side, in the longitudinal direction of the body. A flap adhesive part 7 is disposed on the non-skin contact surface of each unfolded flap part 6 to fix the flap part 6 to the clothes, and a release sheet 11 is releasably stuck to the flap adhesive part 7. A side edge of the unfolded flap part 6 in the longitudinal direction of the body has a linear part 6L linearly extending in the longitudinal direction of the body, and the flap adhesive part 7 is disposed along the linear part 6L. The absorbent article 1 is folded along a virtual folding line Lx1 extending in the cross direction of the body via a laminated body 13 consisting of the flap adhesive part 6 and the release sheet 11.
