The present invention is to provide a surgical instrument 200 for performing an endoscopy or a laparoscopy. The surgical instrument 200 includes an adaptive element 100 capable of holding eyepiece of an endoscope 210 and a laparoscope 220. The adaptive element 100 is arranged on a camera head cover of the surgical instrument 200.
