PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead body preservation method of a long period of time in which the operation is easy, which is excellent in antifungal, and is appropriate for funeral, and to provide a dead body preservation system.SOLUTION: The dead body preservation method includes: a first procedure that installs a gap filling material 30 to a lid fit edge 21 formed at a coffin body 20 that stores a dead body 1 a second procedure in which an oxygen scavenger pack 40 and a composite activated carbon pack 50 at either of which a non-photo catalyst 60 is coated are stored in the coffin body 20 that stores the dead body 1 and a third procedure that fits a lid 22 to the lid fit edge 21 through the gap filling material 30, wherein the internal airtightness of the coffin body 20 is kept by the gap filling material 30, the oxygen concentration in the coffin body 20 is decreased by the oxygen scavenger pack 40 to deactivate the putrefying bacteria breeding in the dead body 1, the putrefying bacteria are resolved by the non-photo catalyst 60, the bacteria are eliminated, and the putrescence gas generated from the dead body 1 is adsorbed by the composite activated carbon pack 50 for deodorizing.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】作業が簡単で抗菌性に優れ、葬儀に適した長期間の遺体保存方法および遺体保存システムを提供する。【解決手段】 遺体1を納める柩本体20に形成された蓋嵌合縁21に隙間補填材30を取り付ける第一手順と、いずれかに無光触媒60が塗布されている脱酸素剤パック40および複合活性炭パック50を遺体1が収められた柩本体20に収納する第二手順と、蓋嵌合縁21に隙間補填材30を介して蓋22を嵌合する第三手順と、から構成し、隙間補填材30により棺本体20内の気密性を保ち、脱酸素剤パック40により棺本体20内の酸素濃度を低下させて遺体1に繁殖する腐敗菌を不活性化し、無光触媒60により腐敗菌を分解して除菌し、複合活性炭パック50により遺体1から発生する腐敗ガスを吸着して脱臭する遺体保存方法を提供する。【選択図】図3
