PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test material for examining change of intracellular IL-5 amount with the lapse of time and screening a substance influencing an intracellular IL-5 production amount without having a step for treating cells and a step for using an antibody and a test method.
SOLUTION: The transgenic nonhuman mammal includes a fluorescent protein gene in a reading frame of exon 1 of interleukin-5 gene. The embryo-stem cell is used for preparing the transgenic nonhuman mammal. The methods for producing them are provided. The method for screening a substance influencing IL-5 gene expression includes using the animal or the cell.
