PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter capable of forming a hole accurately in a belt-shaped sheet.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanter 1 forms a hole on a surface of a mulch film 19 spread on a ridge U with a hole formation device 500 and plants a seedling 22 in the hole formed by the hole formation device 500 while travelling along the ridge of a farm field.
