PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation of one or both of a drive gear and a pinion gear even if a load acts on a handle. A spinning reel (10) includes a reel body (14), a handle (12), a drive shaft (16), and a connecting structure (18). The handle 12 has a handle shaft 26 and a handle arm 28. The handle shaft 26 is rotatably supported by the reel unit 14. The handle arm 28 is provided so as to be rotatable integrally with the handle shaft 26, and extends in the radial direction of the handle shaft 26. The drive shaft 16 has a first end portion 16a and a second end portion 16b opposite to the first end portion 16a, and is rotatably supported by the reel unit 14 at a position different from the handle shaft 26. The connection structure 18 connects the handle shaft 26 and the drive shaft 16 so as to be integrally rotatable.
