PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel that can suppress deformation of one or both of a drive gear and a pinion gear even when a load is applied to a handle.SOLUTION: A spinning reel includes a reel body 14, a handle 12, a drive shaft 16, and a connection structure 18. The handle 12 includes a handle shaft 26 and a handle arm 28. The handle shaft 26 is rotatably supported by the reel body 14. The handle arm 28 is provided so as to be rotated integrally with the handle shaft 26, and extends in a radial direction of the handle shaft 26. The drive shaft 16 includes a first end part 16a and a second end part 16b on the opposite side of the first end part 16a, and is rotatably supported by the reel body 14 at a position different from the handle shaft 26.
