FIELD: biology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biology. Method consists in determination of time interval from moment of supply of conditional signal before beginning of first movement to animals of one of extremities. Extremity movement is fixed by the electric circuit resistance variation, the constituent elements of which are a section of the conductive floor of the starter compartment of the test chamber and the body of a small laboratory animal. Device for determining the duration of the latent period of the conditioned reflex reaction of small laboratory animals involves a test chamber divided into two equal compartments with a transition opening and equipped with a source of a conditional signal. Chamber floor is in pairs connected electrodes, on which voltage is supplied from the power supply lower than the animal's sensitivity threshold. Electrodes are connected to the electric circuit resistance measurement sensor which fixes the beginning of movement of the tested bioobject after supplying the conditional signal. Device also includes a unit for recording the duration of the latent period of the reaction, which is in form of an electronic stopwatch. Stopwatch is started simultaneously with the supply of the conditional signal, and the stop with fixing the duration of the latency period of the conditioned reflex reaction as per the first signal from the resistance measurement sensor.EFFECT: development of the method ensuring determination of latency period duration of conditioned-reflex reaction of small laboratory animals.2 cl, 1 dwgИзобретение относится к области биологии.
