Then, during the basic measurement period, background fodder bulk Mf is weighed and fed (without undernourishment) to the first group of animals with the background fodder feeding value Pf determined by way of division of the obtained animal products energy Af by Mf. Then, reducing the background fodder bulk to an amount equal to Mk and having fed the obtained mixture without undernourishment, one subtracts from the obtained animal products energy A0 the background fodder energy Pf·Mo with the feeding value of the fodder subject to measurement determined by division of the obtained energy of the fodder subject to measurement by its bulk weight Mk.
