PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic substance container for controlling volatilization of a volatile component and, thus, can secure the duration of aroma sufficiently while volatilizing the volatilization component efficiently from an aromatic substance in the form of beads.SOLUTION: The container is composed of a container body 11 which holds the aromatic substance in the form of many beads 12, and a cover body 14 which includes a front face plate 20 for covering an opening surface 11a of the container body 11. An opening-surface covering sheet 19 in which air slits 15 on the sheet side are formed on the opening surface 11a of the container body 11 is attached, and air slits 16 on the box side are formed on a main side part 17a of the container body 11.
