PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus having high safety and high relaxation effects.SOLUTION: A bathing apparatus includes a bathtub, and a bathtub plate on which a bather lies down. The bathtub includes a support base and a lower-limb bathtub provided at a foot side with respect to the support base. The upper part of the support base pivotally supports a shaft of the bathtub plate. In bathing, the bathtub plate is used in an inclined state by lowering the foot side thereof from a horizontal state to the inside of the lower-limb bathtub using the shaft part provided at a head side as a rotational shaft.
