The wearable item comprises a pocket presenting a first aperture and a second aperture, and a leash having a first end secured within a housing and a second end secured to a handle. The housing is configured to be removably received within the pocket through the first aperture, and the handle is configured to be passed from within the pocket through the second aperture.
