To provide an occlusal surface forming bar with which an occlusal surface may be easily made into the same shape in abutment tooth formation.SOLUTION: There is provided an occlusal surface forming bar 10 used in abutment tooth formation, which is provided with a shank 15 for connection to a rotating device, a working part 11 which is arranged on an end of the shank. The working part has a rotor shape on the shank as a rotation shaft, and comprises a head part 11a, an inclined surface forming part 11b, and a corner forming part 11c in this order from the distal side. The head part has a substantially round disk shape in which the farthest section thereof from the rotation axis is provided at a middle section on its side surface. The inclined surface forming part has a tapered shape in which the diameter decreases at a constant rate from the head part to the corner forming part. The corner forming part is connected to the inclined surface forming part while forming a smooth surface and has a curved surface shape increasing in diameter toward the shank.
