PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize a production process of a medical stapler.SOLUTION: An anvil A forming a medical staple 3 supported in cooperation with a ram 5 in a medical stapler to stitch a biological tissue has: a support part 11 having a dimension corresponding to a dimension of a formed top part in the staple 3 after the formation, and supporting a crown 3b of the staple 3 and chamfered corner parts 12 formed in both end portions in a direction along the crown 3b of the staple 3 in the support part 11, and when the supported staple 3 is formed, contacting with the crown 3b to prescribe curve portions.
